My Angel
The world will not be kind to you,
I wish you knew.
When you prayed every night begging,
For a god with deaf ears to listen to you.
Your unreasonable request.
Your impossible wish,
That will never be granted.
I wish you knew.
I'd take your life myself so you could die knowing what kindness was.
-Rain
It would be for the best.
