He grabs all that he has made
then takes them to the stream
let's them afloat on the water
over twenty pristine and clean

He loves to make his paper boats
most fragile as he seems
he loves them as they were children
he's the father of paper dreams

Some boats are blackened
some are the purest white
and for the love of his art
he fights all day and night

But these are his paper boats
some delicate, some spiteful
yet the voice and face of God
is very much more frightful
