Joy stolen, a darkened path I tread,
Love, I thought, but now it seems misled.
Selfish or naive, they may say,
Yet my heart's truth won't fade away.

"Move on," they chant with hollow rhyme,
But your ghost lingers in every time.
Now you're distant, I'm lost, it's true,
Seeking light in the shadows, without you.
