Its easy to be drawn to shimmering stars.
They light up the night like paint, spilled across the sky.
Like glitter, carelessly tossed onto a pitch black canvas.
Somewhat spilling across the floor of our home.
Like the hands that tossed it, small and gentle.
The eyes they are attached to, amazed at the shimmering landscape they just created in the world they barely know.
Eyes that sparkle like a newly born star with youthful wonder.
I cant look away.
After all,
Its easy to be drawn to shimmering stars.
