Jitters
Pre the big day.
I dream weird,
oh sorry, I mean
wired to the escape hatch
or the off switch
whichever is nearest.
Sleep gives you a chance
to edit your way into or out of
romance with no regrets.
The reception.
But for safety reasons
it's always best to keep
one eye on the liqour,
the parson is partial to
a tot or two and the vicar
is quicker than him.
Keep your bride at your side
everyone wants romance
and some, notwithstanding
the occasion, would take a
chance and try to steal her away.
