Athena's eyes shone a million shades of silver
from within the storm cloud.
All was soon to be cast down.

An immobile figure enthroned in the vapor,
The statue clothed in a marble gown
of flowing robes set in stone.

Disorientation was thunder bound.
Concussion struck
a tidal wave of sound.

The concrete figure glanced around
as dark rays pierced the grey cloud.
Everything fell straight to the ground.

Minerva's owl flew far away
to hide under a secretive cowl.
"Knowledge is power, hide it well."
What was it that hid aloft in the clouds?
The world trembled
as I wondered aloud.
