:::
The sound of a train departing,
halted my world from turning.

I wondered if,
on a spur of the moment, will i be
brave enough? have the courage to
buy a ticket to an unknown destination?
leave without a suitcase? without a plan?
::::::::::::::
would i be ready for some other life?
away from my known zone?
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::
would i dare step onto the platform?
and enter the train?
::::::::::::::::::::::::
:::::::::::::::::::
::::::::::::::
:::::::::
a cacophony of doubts, and a small
voice, were all swallowed by the
loud noise of the train engine,
that faded into the clouds and sky,
:::::::::::::::::::::::::
while wet clothes waited to be hung,
:::::::::::::::::
while *** roast fragrantly simmered,
:::::::::::::::::::::::::
while the platform lingered on in my mind.
