Y.A.K.

tiny creatures walking backwards searching for a glow

large monsters paving the black dirt trails

Lady from the lake where is your spinal beginning

and what lessons are here for the primal harvest

you may change your path at any time

you may grow again arching back down to earth

remember your name, remember your calling

it is not the moment for hesitation nor pharmaceticals

gratitude opens the gates and the waves come

one after another

after another

after another

the blood in me is the blood in you

the air in my lungs has been breathed by all

let us join hearts and minds

and talk in tongues and say to each one you are

yes you are and you always will be

now bring the staff to the lake

and the child to the banks

bow your head and give your thanks
