It's getting harder to see
Through this smoke in my lungs
Hoping to break the fog
Cigarette on my tongue
It calms my anxiety

Ensnared in my mind
Too scared to scream
My body's not mine
This feels like a bad dream
Life can't go on living in the past, or through another.
