think about the homeless when christmas comes around
sleeping in the cold on the concrete ground
no christmas cards to read or a christmas tree
just a lonely christmas full of misery

no presents there to open on a christmas day
christmas time for them seems so far away
just a life of gloom is all they seem to know
living in a doorway with no where else to go

staying in the cold in a cardboard box
living in the rough taking all lifes knocks
hoping maybe one find a place to stay
then there misery will finally go away
