the angels were in heaven on a christmas day
on there angel harps they began to play
playing christmas songs in there home above
all the ones we know all the ones we love

played about the child who laid in the hay
born to be a saviour on a christmas day
three wise men they came to see the holy child
laying in a manger gentle meek and mild

a child who would be king to all of whole mankind
his way to peace on earth this little child would find
now we celebrate at christmas.  to the child above.
