your push turned to shove
my heart stopped to beat
and my eyes teared at your face
you bring me back to times
when I was happy
and also so sad
when tears were welcomed
instead of feared
where I was wanted
not feared
I'm sorry I wasn't there
when it was needed
a sorry is all I can say
a push turned to shove
and I couldn't stand my ground
