Perhaps she just got
Too excited
Then said, “Finally
a great wrong got righted.”
Because the news
Made her delighted
Now ever since
She’s been slighted

‘Been talked about
On social media
She’s even cited
On Wikipedia
As often happens
When your mouth
Has defeated ya
And a negative response
Is what has greeted ya

Some think the clapback
Was too hard
For a person with the
Stature of a Phylicia Rashad
Since they’ve pulled
The “Me too” card
It’s as if she were
The Marquisa De Sade

Now she’s backtracked
And opened up her eyes
And to one and all
She’s apologized
Because of how
She’s been criticized
And even by some
She’s now despised
