Swan swing or harp bridge, by sunrise's purple finger inside the azure waist. City wakes broadcasting red trees, shining pyramids, vivid blossoms and vines. The river's garbled mirror under paint-crane chaperone soon shows cerulean Christmas. By the time hips of light coalesce in the near-dawn, you're gone - long since home.

Sunrise, Dublin, December

The river's garbled mirror under paint-crane chaperone soon shows cerulean Christmas. By the time hips of light coalesce in the near-dawn, you're gone - long since home.
