Cell block
Feeling like a thousand
wondering
should I put my blouse on
or could I stay in bed all day?
I'm told that coffee is an 'upper'
but I am on my second cuppa
feeling down.
This is how it will go.
I'll pray for some enlightenment
while tightening my leather belt
when
Jesus is on furlough
there is nowhere else to go.
Fed up with the lockdown
I might decide to shut down
get under the duvet
switch off and tune out
