I'm delighted to see
That my generation
is different.
They're devotion to the arts
Astounds me,
And directs me to joy.

They do not dilute or water down
The words that leave them.
They know what I did not.

I was once devilish.
My words were slanderous,
With intent to destroy.
Now I direct my knowledge
To downsize the dismay
Of my friends and family.

The distraught way
Of thinking
That once devoured
My life and,
Set me on a path
of destruction
Has vanished,
And I have found
Tranquility.
