Call me one of your own
Call me the only one
Think of me when you're alone
Think of me before you're done

And before that, I'll think of you
Given five or six hours
Cause my thoughts of you only get sweeter
When my life gets more sour

So I take the shot and remember
Earlier in a house of my own
When you and I were together
And a moment to dive into the unknown

Explain that the war is through with me
Light my candles and put me to bed
Tell me there'll be more of you to see
In the dreams inside my head
Today was an eventful day. Sorry if I haven't been up. Too bad I have to leave people I truly care for to exist in a hellscape of a community.
