As hard as I tried
I held onto her as tight as I could
But nothing could stop her
From breaking down in my arms
Her cries were unstoppable
Tear after year streaming down on her face
There seemed to be no end to it
Her body shaking uncontrollably
Her unstable breathing
And I couldn’t do anything to help
I just held on
Tighter than I ever had before
Because I feared
At any moment
Between all those tears
I would lose her
For good
One of your greatest fears...
