There’s a burning in my heart today as I watch you protest away
For black people who have been wrongfully killed
By the the police who was sworn to protect them, a sadness in my heart did it fill.
What’s wrong with you guys who won’t rise up and speak?
Your fellow human being are being killed as we speak.
Just for being black is that all that they did.
This should outrage you it doesn’t matter if you’re an adult or kid.
So RISE UP PEOPLE WHO COME FROM PRIVILEGE; RISE UP AND SING THE SONG OF JUSTICE.
For those wrongfully killed by the cops with so much roughness.
Maybe one day we’ll finally know peace and love
But until then let’s rise above.
