I kept the note

Ya know, the one you brought with the ring

I even held on to it the week you were so stubborn and angry

Too much so to talk to me all seven days

Yet we still were together

I still wear the silver ring with crystals

I hold on to letters and trinkets

That you’ve gave to me

The promises

That you’ve kept so far
