I've never been so unafraid of falling
knowing you are there,
catching me

Fingers intertwined and a string
stretching thousands of miles
across rugged terrain
you've got me
all tangled up
and wrapped around your finger

I used to be afraid of committing
to anyone and anything
but you hit me like a heavy rain
in the middle of a drought,
knocking me off of my feet
and your current has pulled me
under your covers
and I've never been so content to drown
