Don’t give me any of your idols of stone
I don’t want your philosophies that drone
You can’t apply this stuff you hold so dear
Just take off those earrings and lend me your ear

I’m not in the mood for your confession
I’m not hearing your transgression
I smell fear in you...
Don’t you know there’s forgiveness and truth?

He said it and the words don’t pass away
Know it and love it we got a brand new day
So let’s get together without fear
Love one another all year

That’s what it is all about
