What Makes a House A Home?

    The warmth of your presence

Other occupants in the void

Of one’s empty spaces…

No matter what the structure houses your fragile body.

Portions of you hang in photos, posters, and the furnishings

That you choose or “add too”

The uniqueness of a living area.

However..without people to share this warm living structure with..

Emptiness and the cold can never be corrected

Nor the feelings of “ghosts of the missing..”

What makes a house a home?

Open my door and stay a while.
