Desperation
When you cry
In the night
Do the stars hear?
Do they know
And do they sew
Your wounds with gold?
No one thrives
When we die
Sooner or later
We all lie
Beneath the flies
And now youβve gone too
You gone to far
And now youβre gone too
You gone too far
An angel at the gate
With a light halo
He keeps calling
But your ears remain closed
And the desperation grows
There is a chance
God surely knows
Another energy unseen by you
Surrounds
Begging with good intention
Where death is love abounds
