Dec 2019
Imprisoned in that little mind of yours
Her eyes still reflected the endless blues
You forced her to play your games
But you forgot that she decided the rules

You could hold and love her all you want
But she would never be yours to claim
Because she was 'the child of the wild'
You could capture her but never tame
