we fuss over this
we fuss over that
who cares who is right or wrong
when it's feelings over facts

who gets to decide
who tells the biggest lies
a lie you find is still a lie
whether black or white

what if you don't know
a lie is what you're told
does it then make it innocent
if you pass it on

if it were up to me

wouldn't we both want to be
ambassadors of truth

somewhere along the line

we can see we can't believe

i find it rather sad
diving headfirst into the deep
before we even check the facts
all based on our feelings

which has us fussing over this

not caring who is right or wrong
