Sipping  tea
Alone someday
You will miss me
Then close your
Dreamy  eyes
Go ahead and laugh
The way you do
At me, at us.
That’s cool, really
We would be cool
Wouldn’t we?
Take a stroll
On the beach
Feel that sand
Slip away
Under your
Disproportionate feet
Send those seagulls
Away,  far away
That’s cool, really
so they don’t
bother you
With some
stormy memory.
Keep that office
Door open
Always.
Let them take
the litter
That’s cool, really
Locking it
might remind
You things
Won't do  any better
Drive by the café
Have our special
That’s cool , really
Just smile
If you see our bench
that was made for two.
If you see someone cry
Go ahead
Wipe that tear
That’s cool really
You do that well
you listen, you care
but please  ignore
those moles
Lest they
talk to you
about someplace
you met them
long ago.
Go ahead and forget me
Babes that’s cool really
Don’t just ever
Let me know
That your heart
is empty
the last crumbles
Of love
I scraped out
It was too good
to believe.
