You played your game
holding four aces and King
How could I play
no cards were dealt to me
Never knowing the game

My heart was all in
with everything to lose
Had I known it was a game
never would my heart been seen
I was told never play
with the Queen of hearts

Nothing was ever said about the King
the Queen may be spiteful and mean
The King tells me what I most desire
makes me believe it’s true
When he’s tired of his game
he shows his hand to collect my heart
Leaving me lifeless and confused
