what guilt are they talking about
what sin
as if we had to apologise for
being here

what **** is this
that's only placing fear
in peoples' minds

how blind
do you want us to be

don't bow your head in silent
guilty shame, you fools

rise up

why do you think
your feet walk on this earth

you think it was
a mistranslation

a sudden rush of foolish

confess not to a death numb stranger

take danger by the hand and drink it up
and open your mind
to the guiltless universe

you are not condemned
if you chose not to be
you are and always have been
free to realise
that no-one had to die
for you
from the beginning.
