I loved you
But love is a dissipating wave
Crashing on the
Tide of dreams
Behind blue eyes
I had goals
And aspirations
And it’s no ones fault
We lost connection
Along the way

Hell has a place in your heart
That you run to
For security
But my assurance
That it’ll be alright
Wasn’t enough insurance for you
