The moist eyes from fallen tears
The pit of fire that blazes our soul
The treacherous terrains of walking on
broken pieces of a road

The unjust words of malice spoken in the heat
The tormented and mutilated sentiment
Left and is now what remains

I find that in these thunderstorms of long lost empathy
We drifted years ago
We had nowhere to turn to
So we just let go

We let go of the connected understandings
Of which intertwined our minds
The love we said never-ending
Its expired now!

Now I'm here in solitary confinement
Imprisoned inside of my heart

Tell me what cure is there truly?
For an intentional, yet seemingly unexpected
This is dedicated to past loves and past friendships
