You and her are in the news
And I admit I’m not amused
Cuz it was always you and me
At least that’s how it used to be
You got with her out of the blue
Now they say you’re married too
Which is something I don’t get
I didn’t know she was a threat
 
I can’t believe what I just read
What the gossip column said
They even dished it on Hot Topics
You got married in the tropics
Everything happened so fast
Thought that we were gonna last
How could you do this to me?
We shared so much history

How long had it been going on?
You must have known that it was wrong
Though you proceeded anyway
But every dog will have its day
Now I don’t wish you no ill will
Because ya see I love you still
And even though my heart is broken
This wedding gift is a small token

I wish you and her the best
And that you find happiness
Hopefully I’ll heal with time
It won’t be for lack of tryin’
You’ve moved on and so will I
Though it’s not easy I can’t deny
But I’m forced now to accept
Whether or not I object
