My eyes are closed,
Finding the solace buried within
Delicate woven works
Of the good times and the sins

Path of solitude,
Hands stained with sweat
Alone, yet alive
For the lingering regret

I can see it for it really is,
A dream chased after,
Just another trick
Run from the doubt, away from fear
I'm shaking and dying,
Yet I'm still here

Falling from the edge
Of the will, I lost
Shattered and broken,
A plan that turned out to be false

Follow your wishes,
and they said that they'll come true
Falling and breaking,
But still,
where are you?
I can imagine it all,
a world we create,
Close my eyes its there,
And I thought it was our fate

But I'm opening them now
I can see it for it really is,
A dream chased after,
Just another trick
Run from the doubt, away from fear
I'm shaking and dying,
Yet I'm still here

Shapes and colors, painted bright
I know the road,
Yet I feel no light,
Drenched in the rain,
Waiting for darkness's flight

But now I'm seeing things for the first time
Sadly, it's too late,
Home and friends all gone
I thought I could do it
But still, again, I'm wrong

But now I'm seeing things for the first time
I can see it for it really is,
A dream chased after,
Just another trick
Run from the doubt, away from fear
I'm shaking and dying,

But somehow,
I'm still here

I'm still here
