Maybe you should of stayed inside, in bed
It’s not good, all these thoughts in your head
You’ll wonder and wander around till your dead
Stuck and lost, with no escape,  in your head

Maybe then your blood wouldn’t turn to bile
If only you had stayed, at least for a while
But the path you chose, is not error and trial
You’ll just have to wait, to pass, for a while

Maybe if you knew, you’d be happy
At least if you had sight, you could see me
But if we turn the page, it’ll still end sadly
And if only you could hear, you could hear me

Singing to you softly
Your face had a smile
As I watched as you bled
To see you another day
"The death of a loved one, perhaps?"
