Another year, another Fathers day
Another year since mine has passed
Still holding tightly to the memories
Of all the good times that we had

He did with me the best he could
Teaching me what he thought right
Never turn your face my son to evil ways
When it comes to justice always stand and fight

Always respect your mother
Loving her the best you can
And when you see those that have no hope
Lift them up with the kind word of friend

Valuable lessons that my father gave
I can't begin to tell
He is with my other Father now
In Heaven where all is well

If I could be just half the man
That gave all of himself
Then my goal in life will be fulfilled
To be the best Dad and nothing else
