The seeming illogic of paying a man
A good and wise and educated man
To poke his finger upwards in your ///
After a visit to a wizard’s lab
Where a pleasant, professional young woman
Attaches a vampire butterfly to your wrist
And ***** your blood into a little phial
“Now you might feel a little pressure, okay?”
And then consider the happy logic
of staying alive
