Smile so wide he could swallow the world and
arms flung far out at his sides
he flies. Belly-down on a skateboard
the same size as him.
His whooping cries lifted to the sky
as his mother patiently nudges him along
a few feet at a time.
Just a random interaction I observed out in the park during my stay in Hawai'i.
