Sky greets her this morning
like first breath to a babe
she inhales the atoms
and the molecules and they
hop along throughout her being
and across her skin
She lifts her head up and
with bounce in her stride
she circles wide
comes in for the charge,
barges though veils
of illusion and disillusion
her questions
demanding resolution
One flicker of a tail
and in billowing dust
she comes to a standstill,
takes cognizance
of what surrounds her..
might or might not
step in and manifest here,
she thinks,
as she drinks from the banks
of a river so gentle
But she knows that
she must venture on
She knows where the river
Where the river runs strong
