By: Cedric McClester

This thing is complex
We’re lacking
Balances or checks
And being led
By inferior intellects
Round up the usual suspects
Cuz’ who knows what
Is coming next?

This thing is perverse
It’s gone from
Bad to worst
Could it be that
We’re accursed?
And can it somehow
Be reversed?

This thing is bizarre
Because it’s gone
Too far
But then,
There you are
We’re in a
Petri jar

This thing isn’t unique
And I know of
What I speak
Which informs
This critique
The strong will
Vanquish the weak
If we continue being meek
