May 22
The moon dripped from her lips,
a liquid glow,
a hypnotic swell,
flowing over the vast
valleys of life.

She kissed the contouring shadows
with vows that dimmed
with every breaking
light.

Her darkness
in stark contrast
to the smiles in her eyes.

Some say the soul is in the eyes,
but aww the lips
are tactile pleasures defined.
