I’m Hoodwinked,
How’d you do,
Your bad voodoo?
Feels so good

You stole my heart
No time to think
My eyes just stared
I couldn’t blink

Now I sit
All alone
Talk’n to you
On the phone

I hear his voice
Across the room
Doing that
Lowers the boom

I’m Hoodwinked,
How’d you do,
Your bad voodoo?
Felt so good

Merriam-Webster's Daily Word today is Hoodwinked. Kinda funny, to have that word on April Fool's Day. Anyway, I thought it'd be a nice exercise to write a poem around that word. Here it is.
