I have learned to continue walking without your touch
listen to the silence and no that it's okay
I do not Crave Your Skin anymore
I do not need it
I can go through my day without you

I've learned other ways to cope
I have adapted to my surroundings
and you are not one of them anymore
I once needed your touch to get through the day
and I don't now
I've gotten used to there being no one there
I am no longer dependent

and I'm a little more detached that way
