You stained my heart
Not in a bad way
In a way that you stain wood
To protect it
To keep it safe
To make it last longer

You stained my mind
In a way that you seeped into every thought

You stained my soul
In a way that I can’t live without you

Now all I have are these tears that stain my sheets
