Jan 2019
the sun has set
tides have changed
summer is long over

sand still everywhere
reminders of what was
our beach glass too

everything blackness
body numb
eyes like bags of salt

paralyzed
staring
shallow breath

mechanical heart beat
lethal blow
the floor so reassuring
this floor is all i have anymore, love does not live here anymore
