Hazy candy store blues
     with candid lazy attitudes
and sickly sweet stumps stalked high
Is where I first fell in love

        a truffle for my mother
a treat for my crazy brother
Icing on the roof as we sat aloof
sweet scents of clove
and
        a wood burning stove
churning in a choice strokes
            as we built Gingerbread houses
trying something new give me tips and ideas for more free-verse rhyming
