i cannot name your smile
it is fragile and it does not
last
but i will give you hope
for it, for it most anything
i will give you
my laugh for it, and by it
regenerate,
through It a new Spring.

i would say to you that "i
do not know your scar"
, but i will give you
a kiss for it
to mend, Oh!
for it to mend, most anything
for you, for your health
i would
Name each planet your name,
each speckled rill of starlight, your name.

but what for
your heart your curse your
fleeting love?

for that, my
love i give you my love.
