A stretching blanket
Of shallow, wide hills,
Rolling upwards to
The veil of the sky

Ascends over the
Horizon, bending
My little pathway
Up, and over me,

Loops over itself,
Chimes in five, stretches
Down past the lower
Horizon beyond,

Vertical. The long
Road, curling over.
Walk its length, and you're
Back where you started.

Wandering home; the
Trip of a life-time
.
Halfway there.
