Dec 2018
my heart is so heavy, loves.
this world, always broken &
spinning loosely thru starlight

i think maybe i need to taste
a drop of daylight on my tongue
& feel the strong sun beaming
down relentlessly, as we spin.

it seems so senseless, all this
push & pull of patterns in life
i struggle to lock myself down
to stay in orbit, to stay sane

earth spins on her axis as i dangle
my toes over the edge of the sky;
heavy heart keeping me grounded.
