People work for the money
Work to support others.  
But all I have ever wanted was a bit of happiness

People go to college for the money it may bring
People go for a job it promises
We do things for the promise that money brings happiness.  

I don't care about the money.  
I don't care about the job.  
I just want a bit of happiness that may come along
Money only brings security and will only leave you empty.  

People work for money
For the promise of happiness
But money doesn't give you anything
But an endless emptiness.
