Dec 2018
held a    book
     too long,
too         high
in the

air,

pulled   a
muscle.

hastily written
          reasons     to stay,
     distracted.

ruined
       another ***,
              water
                    to vapor,
                        charred to death.

   fireflies and starling

         m    u    r    m    u    r    a    t    i     o    n    s

like to think of
     inaction   as   a verb
              in times

                      like these.
